One can easily claim damages from a cargo or a shipping firm, if one sees that the company has been lax in transportation of goods. One needs to check the following points before one can make an appeal to the court.
1 Was there a laxity in the shipping company's business?
2 Do you have the bill for the deal that went wrong.
3 Was your shipment insured?
4 What disclousers had you made to the company on nature of goods?
5 Was the nature of goods perishable?
6 Have you appealed to the local office of the compnay for damages?
If you tick all the above boxes, you can file an appeal with any of the courts designated for dealing with affairs arising out of breach of contract, and the shipping company will have to pay damages.

Diesel price hike will rasie courier and shipping rates.
The new diesel price hike will see the rise in courier and shipping rates acrross the whole of the country, the experts have opined. The indian govt has raised the price of diesel by 3 Rs, and it has told the state govts, to pull back the rates by reducing VAT on the same.
But this price hike directly affects the shipping, moving and courier industry in the country, which indirectly affects the price of all commodities. Any hike in the courier rates will mean that that the price of eesential goods wil rise too.

What has come as a major accusation against the world's most premier shipping and moving company - Dhl - there have been reports that they have been committing human right violations against their workers dealing with shipping and moving business.
Many workers have complained against malpractices by the company, and some workers have even said that they have been adminstered lie dector tests, to know whether they have been honest in their practices. A hard time for a courier comany though.

Fedex earning good money from India
Fedex, the world's premier courier is making good profits from aquistions in india, it seems. Its profits for this quarter have really gone up, and it has been able to leverage a lot of its profits from the international market, especially india and mexico.
So much that it has laid off staffs in USA, and instead hired people in Mumbai, and the large indian market, which is just moving into second gear, is really going to help fedex grow up as a premeier company in the sub-continent.
